Tip 29) Need to find an exact colour match for your branding, logo or website?

Have you seen a colour online that you really like and want to find out the exact shade to use in your logo or flyers? Here's how...

Step 1: Right-click on the image and save it to your desktop.
Step 2: Head over to HTML Colours and upload the image.
Step 3: Move your mouse over the image until the colour you want is in the box to the right.
Step 4: Hey presto! The colour number is displayed under the box! How simple is that?

You can also convert between colour formats (HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, CMYK) by inserting the colour code in the format you have and pressing the GO button.

For many small business owners and entrepreneurs, the word 'sales' is near the top of the 'Things I Hate Most' list, along with:

Wisdom tooth extraction,
Root canal work,
Delayed flights
Cheap iPhone chargers that never work for more than two weeks!

If I had £100 for every time I've heard a business owner say ‘I don't like selling’, or ‘I'm not a salesperson’, I'd be a far richer woman that I am right now!

This is a great tip for those of us who get easily distracted by social media notifications on our phones! Or those who are addicted to Candy Crush (or whatever is the latest smartphone game!).

I have a few clients that communicate with me via WhatsApp, and I realised that every time I checked WhatsApp, I just had to check my social media accounts at the same time. If there were notifications, I couldn't help myself!

So thank goodness for WhatsApp desktop. Just install on your PC and your messages will come in via your PC, as well as your phone.
