As an entrepreneur, leader, and business owner, it can be a challenge to feel motivated all the time! Stress, overwhelm, confusion, and even boredom can cause us to procrastinate and sometimes even walk away from endeavours we are otherwise deeply passionate about. Check out these top tips to see if they can help you rebuild your motivation: 🏆 Check whether your business goals are aligned with your values and sense of purpose! If not, consider changing your goals - for you to drive forward, you need to feel your actions are in sync with where you truly want to go!
🏆 Use a tick list… And tick off jobs as you do them! The endorphins released from ticking off tasks from a checklist can help to refill our motivation bucket and reignite the drive we need to be more successful! 🏆 Go back to basics and do just one task at a time! It can be very tempting, especially when we are busy, to try to do ten things at once. Try to resist this urge, and start with the tasks that you can do, as this will give you a foundational sense of achievement to build your motivation from! 🏆 If you can, delegate the tasks you dislike most and are less aligned with your skillset! If you start each day with a mountain of jobs that you don’t want to do, it can feel impossible to motivate yourself… Eventually your willpower will run out! So, if you can, outsource or delegate the tasks you find yourself procrastinating the most. 🏆 Create a vision board! If you are someone who enjoys looking at images, create a board of pictures conveying where you want to be in a year’s time! If you are less visual, create a board with words written on it, like your financial goals, improved staff retention rates, improved cashflow figures, etc. Make sure it is somewhere you can see it, like on your office wall or your computer desktop, and make the effort to look at it regularly - throughout each day! Focusing on what you want can help to keep you motivated and moving forward! Have you tried any of these tips❓ Do you have any extra advice for increasing motivation❓
