In fact, it can be rewarding, exciting, and dare I say, enjoyable! I know this sounds simple, but do you know how many business owners and leaders I have met who don’t have any clear, achievable, and realistic goals? For me, setting goals is essential to the effective running of any business, and the positive leading of any team. Before you do anything today, ask yourself: 📌 What is my purpose? 📌 What is the purpose of my business? 📌 Where are we heading? 📌 What kind of leader do I want to be? Once you’ve got your answers, my next tip is to… 👍 Stay focused! Now you know why you’re getting up each day and working so hard, stay focused on the direction you want to go! Look at your goals DAILY, reflect on them MONTHLY, and set new business goals QUARTERLY (at least!). If you want your business to keep moving forward and growing in the direction you’re hoping for, then your goals have to grow with you! And finally… 👍 Be consistent! Setting the goals and focusing on them isonly half of the battle… Next, you’ve got to be consistent! When I say reflect regularly, I mean, reflect regularly. This means that when I check back this time next year, you’re still doing what you said you’d do! If you need help gaining clarity, setting goals, being held accountable, you know where to find me!
