Like Skype but better, Zoom is a brilliant tool for communicating with clients, recording meetings and running live webinars. You can even have online breakout rooms!

Free if it’s just two of you online, and free for groups up to 40 minutes! I use it for running group meetings, training and 1-2-1 coaching. Love it!

So, what do you mean by that I hear you ask yourself!

I’m not suggesting that you have actually been peeing over your flyers, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you have been ‘We’-ing over them.

Read over your marketing material and count how many times you use the words ‘We’ or ‘I’. Then start reframing your text so that for every WE you include a YOU. Because that’s the only thing your prospects are interested in! Themselves and what’s in it for them.

In case you missed the first tip in the pinned post on The Bristol Small Business Network page, people buy from people. So, when you post in FB groups to promote yourself, include your name and something about yourself.

Even add a photograph of yourself.

Make it personal – help people to get to know YOU first, then they are much more likely to buy from you. You don’t network with a link or a picture of your product. Let people get to know YOU!
