Tip 250) RingGo - great app for car parking!

I'm quite surprised that everyone doesn’t already know about this nifty little parking app, so in case you are one of those who doesn’t know, I will tell you!

RingGo allows you to pay for parking via their app. The thing I love about it most is that you can top up your parking from wherever you are, rather than having to run back to the car in a panic! (Assuming you are not in a set time zone of course.)

I never have change on me, so I find this really useful. You can add multiple cars, and it emails you a receipt. (Anyone else always losing the little tickets you get and forgetting to put them through the business?)

I love little time-saving apps like these. I think I have an app for just about everything :-)

Apparently, the retention rate for visual info can reach 65% compared to 10% for text only.

Never forget that you are trying to get your message through 1,000s of other messages, especially on social media, so make sure your message stands out.
 
Use great graphics and videos to grab your prospect’s attention. (Make sure it is a great image, as a poor one will have the opposite impact and may even damage your brand.)

Also, prospects who take the time to watch your video are far more likely to convert, so make it short and snappy. We often decide whether to watch something or not by its length. The same goes for listening to audio. I know someone who posts great content in his videos, but they are always an hour or so long. That's about 55 minutes longer than the average person will watch!

Another great way to generate awareness of your brand is to create a caption contest. Ask for the funniest caption, perhaps offering some kind of prize.

​These contests tend to bring out the wittiest of your followers and are often a really good laugh. We are more likely to share things we find amusing.
