Let’s talk about the best communication tool out there - DISC.

As many of you know, DISC profiling is one of my MOST favourite subjects!

I love it! So much so, that I think everyone should learn about DISC, even our kids. The way we engage, manage, lead, sell to, build rapport with and communicate with each of the four DISC profiles is very different. Understanding this is a vital life skill.

For example, the primary motivators for each profile are very different:

Dominant Drivers: Want power, new projects, exciting challenges, results, being in control and winning.

Influencers: Love flattery, praise, freedom, acceptance, a friendly environment and being popular.

Steady Supporters: Need recognition for a job well done, stability, security and activities that can be started and finished.

Conscientious Controllers: Crave excellence, detailed tasks, research, limited social interaction and being respected by peers.

If you want to influence someone, the fastest way to do that is to connect what you need with their primary motivators. Works like magic 😊
