As a leadership and management coach and trainer, I'm often brought in to fix things. Teams in conflict. To raise performance. To identify issues. To help squabbling leaders. To improve management skills. When this happens, it can be challenging for all but we often have to go through the hard stuff to find the solutions. It's the only way to move forward. I've been coaching for a long time so I have a ton of tools that I can use to help teams and leaders resolve their challenges. In fact, trying not to blow my own trumpet too loudly - I think I'm pretty good at it... Occasionally though, I want to bang my head against the wall. Even I can get pushed too far 😲.
This usually results in me saying words to the effect of “enough is enough!”. Those words could be stronger - depends on the audience! It takes a lot to get me to that stage but it's always enough for people to realise, “wait a minute, this really isn’t working”. As they say "Denial is not a river in Egypt!" Luckily.... I really love what I do. And my clients seem to love me, as they know my number one focus is ALWAYS to support them to grow and develop! We only buy services for two reasons. To solve a problem or to fulfil a desire. Or both. ❓What about you? Are you solving a problem or fulfilling a desire?
