Tip 138) Must read book for ENTREPRENEURS LOOKING to create a Laptop LIFESTYLE

The 4-Hour Work Week is a brilliant book if you are looking to create a business that you can run from anywhere in the world. I read this book many years ago when it was first published, and it taught me to structure my business so I can pretty much work from any country with an internet signal! I've coached from the beach in Thailand, poolside in Bali, and written watching sunsets in Egypt and sunrises in Spain! 

Here is the most important lesson I took from the book...

Only do what only you can do!

​Delegate or outsource all menial tasks. Automate where possible. If you have someone to delegate to, then delegate. If not, pay someone £10-£20 an hour to do it. Trying to do everything themselves is one of the biggest mistakes business owners and entrepreneurs make – usually because it saves money or because they think it's a quick and easy thing to do. 

This is such a false economy because if you are busy doing admin tasks, there’s no-one growing your business. You can hire someone from People Per Hour or Fiverr, depending on what needs doing. 

Write a list of everything you do and anything that is low skill and low enjoyment – outsource or delegate! 

• Get a bookkeeper or someone to do your admin.
• Hire someone to do your social media or update your website.
• Get a cleaner; order your grocery shopping online.

Look at it as an investment rather than a cost.
