This will move your business forward. The effects might not be huge or obvious straight away, but it’s all forward strokes in the sea of work.
I have learnt on my journey (I’m a relative newbie in my business) that any step forward is progress and can lead to unexpected good things. It’s so easy to want to achieve that big goal NOW and then feel like a duck paddling frantically trying to get there. However, if you just break it down into smaller steps, it’s much less daunting, more achievable and, in the long run, helps you keep that forward progress. You might even look more swan than duck this way! So, my tip is just keep going, believe in your plan, be kind to yourself, touch business base every day. Keep the work small and simple if it’s meant to be a downtime day. Engaging on a post in a useful Facebook group like this one is enough on those days. Proactive patience will pay off, just keep swimming. I hope this blog has been helpful and supportive to the group members. I am a fairly new member myself, my name is Hazel and my Virtual Assistant business is Busy Keys. I offer admin support services to help businesses get through tasks on their to-do list and free up more time to carry out their core roles. I can take ad-hoc tasks or regular support packages, tailored to your unique business needs. To give you an idea of the tasks I get asked to do, they include: mail list management, data entry, social media and blog post creation and scheduling, to name just a few.
