Tip 164) Get your business on Google MY Business

Setting up your Business Profile on Google is pretty simple, but I'm amazed at how many people don't bother. It's free and it can help you show up in more searches, you can link to your website, add offers and photos, and – most importantly – build your reviews. Why wouldn't you?

If you are not very tech-savvy, ask a teenager to do it for you, find someone in the Bristol Small Business Network FB group to help, or get someone from Fiverr or PPH to do it for you.

Once you have your Business Profile set up, send the link to your customers and clients and ask them to write you a review. Make it easy for them. Ask people you know to do it for you first.

Do it – it will take about 20 minutes.
