Tip 196) The Power of sales scripts

"Scripts?! I don't want to sound like a robot \ saleperson \ salesy!" I hear you shout. Here are 4 very important reasons why you SHOULD use sales scripts, whatever your business.

  • You will come across as more professional.
  • You will cover all the important things first.
  • You will overcome your clients objections before they become objections.
  • You will be consistent - regardless of who is handling the customer, they will receive the same message.

Scripts are great for increasing conversions and for improving your customer journey. Most business should have multiple scripts for different stages in their customer journey. For example...
  • What to say on an incoming call.
  • What to say to pitch your product and overcome objections.
  • How to follow up.
  • How to handle a customer complaint.
  • How to talk about your prices and fees.

Write your scripts and then practice, practice, practice until you can quote them verbatim. Practice in the car, in the shower, doing the housework. Practice until it flows easily and sounds natural.

Trust me - this is so worth the time investment. My conversion rate is really high because I plan exactly what I need to say and how I need to say it to have the best chance of converting a prospect into a paying client.

Try it and see what happens!
