Ever wanted to design professional social media posts in minutes? Then you need Canva!

I have to say, I absolutely love, love, love Canva! It's so easy to create amazingly simple (and fun) designs in minutes – no design skills or complex software needed.

Seriously – it's even suitable for the technophobes amongst us!

​Here are the top 8 reasons why I love Canva...​

1. ​It's free! Unlike many similar types of software, the free option doesn't offer limited functionality. You can happily use Canva forever for free.
2. The upgrade to the professional version is only about £10 per month. This version offers thousands more images, more folders and the ability to resize designs, but as I said – you don't really need it.   
3. There are over 60,000 templates for social media posts, posters, flyers, logos, blog headers, invitations and presentations. Yes, 60,000!
4. The designs are so easy to edit. Simply swap an image to one of Canva's free ones or upload your own. (If you want to find out where you can find great free images for commercial use, click here.) Edit the text, change the font, move stuff around, add filters, etc. 
5. While I prefer the online version, their free app is brilliant – design on the go!  
6. Either share directly from Canva to your social media, or download to your phone or PC.
7. If you need inspiration for your designs, check out 'Get Design Inspiration' online (on the menu sidebar, near the bottom) to check out thousands of public designs.
8. You can create professional designs anywhere in minutes! I created the five social media posts below while sat in the doctor's waiting room for 45 minutes!  ​
