What do your clients say about you? Does it match your branding? Do they get what they expect?
I recently contacted a local business about using their services because I was initially attracted to their marketing. They portrayed themselves as positive with a can-do attitude. A company who would go above & beyond for their clients. This is my kind of business I thought as I completed their online form! Unfortunately, I didn't get what I expected at all. For a start, I didn't get a response to my enquiry. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt because of lockdown, despite their website stating clearly that it was business as usual, so I decided to give them a call. I was met with a generic call minder voicemail. Not even a personal message! I left a message anyway & it took 9 days to get a response! 9 days! When I told them I had already found an alternative supplier, the guy on the phone was very short & put the phone down. What the hell? No apology. No thought was given to the fact that I could be a customer in the future. I think I had a lucky escape, to be honest! My values are stated clearly on my website and clients get what they expect. Are your values displayed on your website?
