Established business owners who want to scale and build a business that runs without them, rather than one that depends on them for everything.

Does Jo Richings also offer leadership and management coaching?

Yes. Alongside business coaching, Jo and the JR Training team deliver leadership coaching, management training and team coaching for businesses and NGOs.

Where does coaching take place?

Yes. Jo and the JR Training team offer ADHD-aware business and executive coaching and adapt programmes for neurodiverse leaders.

Last, but by no means least, is the C profile. Think accountant, engineer, inventor, and anything else that needs a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

How to spot them...
C profiles are usually very reserved and prefer their own company to crowds. Often classed as the least emotional of profiles, C's do not tend to talk much about their personal lives or to be bothered much about yours, so personal chit chat is discouraged. C's love research, detail and data, and ask lots of questions.

What Do They Do Best?

Steady profiles are the most common profile in the UK, with an estimated 69% of the population being S profiles.

How to spot them:
High S profiles tend to be quiet and reserved at first, but once they get to know you, they make wonderful loyal friends. Often doing too much for others, S profiles could be described as the caring profile, and are often found in holistic therapies, life coaching, working with children or animals, nursing or admin support roles. Their most significant values tend to be security and stability.

What Do They Do Best?

Bring harmony to group situations.

As promised, here is how to get the best out of Influencer profiles.

How to spot them:
They are the loudest, chattiest and most open of all the profiles. Happy to tell you all sorts of personal information, high I profiles are not only easily distracted, but they can also often be pretty distracting themselves. The life and soul of the party, this profile loves people, praise, having fun and interacting with others. Typically not great at time management and they can be pretty unorganised!

What they do best:

Inspire others to take action.
Think fast on their feet – optimistic, intuitive, creative.

Following on from Tip 102, here is how to get the best out of a D profile.

How to spot them:
D profiles are usually smartly dressed, outgoing and confident, often with a fairly large ego. To the point and blunt, they are very forceful with their opinions and like to base their decisions on facts, not emotions. For D's, it's all about the results, so they tend to be very ambitious.

What they do best:

Being decisive and taking risks.
Being direct, dynamic, disciplined.
Taking charge – they get things done.
Outgoing and confident.

So what is DISC? I hear you ask...

DISC is a brilliant profiling tool that improves rapport building, sales conversion rates, productivity, teamwork and communication. I have used it with all my coaching clients over the last ten years with some pretty amazing success. We've tripled conversion rates, developed brilliant managers and even saved marriages with DISC!

DISC profiling helps you to:

Understand YOUR behavioural style – your strengths, your weaknesses, and how others view you.
Understand OTHERS behaviour style – their potential strengths and weakness, likely attitudes and behaviour.
